Anthony and Karen Morgan - a little bit about our caterers!

Anthony spent his early career working in the kitchens of some of London’s finest hotels including the 5* Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, The Westbury Hotel, The Cafe Royal and Brown’s Hotel before venturing further afield to Lyon in France to work at Paul Bocouse’s 3*Michelin Restaurant and then later at the Gaston Le Notre School of Excellence, just outside Paris.

Whilst Karen also spent 3 years at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, she returned back to the Midlands to specialise in desserts. She has worked at Sloane’s in Edgbaston, the Metropole, NEC and then the Lombard Room Kings Norton, before they both moved into developing their own successful catering team ‘Morgans’, now established over 14 years.

Winners of both the National Wedding Industry Awards in London for 'Best Caterers' and recently in Manchester, The Food Industry Awards 'Best Caterer', Morgans are recognised as one of the finest specialist wedding caterers in the country.

We will provide you with superb staff to serve your guests; the finest quality, wonderful tasting food, beautifully presented and mouth-wateringly fresh, using local produce wherever possible. The key to a successful wedding is through consultation and planning and Morgans’ personal ‘hands on’ approach gives the bride and groom the confidence that their wedding is in experienced hands and that the client always comes first.

Once Anthony has designed a wedding breakfast for the bride and groom (nothing is ‘packaged’ here, so no two menus are the same at Redhouse Barn), it can be prepared, cooked and enjoyed by all the family prior to the wedding day. This session is chargeable, but it ensures that you have full confidence in your menu choice prior to the big day and is a lovely evening out at the Barns!

Morgans provide a complimentary wine tasting session at Redhouse Barn, generally twice a year, where the bride and groom can come and choose their wines to go with their wedding breakfast - all with the assistance of their very experienced wine merchants.

Everyone loves food, so 'wow' your guests with a sumptuous food experience throughout your wedding's the biggest element of any wedding budget, so why settle for average when you can have exceptional!
